Watching the third

June is like the month of blockbusters, in particular the third instalment of all the famous movie hits. Needless to say, yours truly went straight to the cinema to grab tickets for the much awaited Pirates 3 and Shrek 3.

The deep impression left on my mind after both shows was that I literally LOL & ROFL. (read: laughing out loud & rolling on the floor laughing, though not so literal for the 2nd expression).

Pirates 3 left me gasping for air, with its superb special effects and wonderful sense of comic timing. A memorable ROFL moment was the proposal scene amidst the maelstrom of fighting going on.

Shrek 3 was spot-on with its cliched jokes and humour, leaving one adequately satisfied yet wishing for a tad more creativity.
