A Crazy Christmas!

A Crazy Christmas!
A concert put up by Dream Academy Productions and featuring some of the best voices and well-known personalities in theatre.
It was a night of pure singing (of christmas carols, of course), joke-making and laughter as the singers delighted the audience with familiar classic tunes (with a twist!) as christmas songs get sung in different genres ranging from jazz to rock and even broadway! And there was even a special guest of 10 years of age in this segment of 'rain songs' where songs about rain (duh...) are sung in a medley, because as brilliantly noted by Pam Oei, 'it doesn't snow in Singapore but it rains'. This concert is surprisingly enjoyable as it's all about spreading the good cheer and having lots of fun and laughs with family and friends....that's what the christmas season is for...a time for crazy people to have a crazy good time! :)

That Look...

That look...
Haven't I seen it somewhere?
Why can't I recall?
It seems so familiar, yet so strange and foreign...

That look...
I'm trying so hard to recall.
I need to recall because it is important, especially to me...
It keeps me strong...

That look, that look, that look
Yes! I finally recall!

It's The Holiday Season...

Ok, holiday season's definitely coming because....

- Christmas lights are lit up at Orchard Road (by the way, the theme's water, haha, related to what i sell :P)
- Am getting product brochures from Watson's/Guardian/Toy'rus/Carrefour etc (they are seemingly endless)
- Starting to hear Christmas carols
- Sales everywhere
- People talking about where to go for the holidays
- Children appearing in larger quantities (without uniforms yet equally as loud and boisterous)
- Thinking about Christmas gifts budget
- Yet another Christmas-themed movie to do with Santa Claus
- December's just round the corner
- Year 2008 calendars appearing

Yup! It's definitely the holiday season!
So, let loose and enjoy :)

Unbelievable!

Okay...just reading this grosses me out....can you imagine the audacity of the sellers to do such an irresponsible and despicable act that endangers people's lives? It is simply atrocious!
I shudder to think of the consequences....
Yes, we are called to save the earth through greener living methods such as reuse, reduce and recycle. Yet, we need to keep in mind safety and health hazards as well. This is clearly a bad and distasteful example of recycling.
