Guys who can cook...

Most well-known chefs are males. Most home-made dishes are done by females.

Ok, this is not a discourse about the male-female role in the kitchen or about justifiable rewards for female versus male labour done in the kitchen, but just simply talking about guys...in particular those who can cook =)

What got me thinking about this issue was actually the birthday party of a close friend that i attended recently (just over the weekend). What was special about the party was that we didn't go to any fancy restaurants (where we probably would end up paying service charge & gst that's enough for another person's meal) but instead we went to her boyfriend's place and get to taste his cooking! Was really impressed when i heard that her boyfriend could cook and actually enjoy it! Many thanks to the chef who made lots of effort and time to prepare the feast for us =) It was a really sweet gesture that not only expresses his flair for cuisine but also his love for his girl =)
